Hubs to receive funding for a further 4 years

Accent are thrilled to share the news that funding for Music Education Hubs will continue for an additional 4 years, up until April 2020. Ministers announced their decision on 18 November 2016 and have pledged £300m, an increase of £29m from the previous 4 years, to support hubs with the delivery of Music Education across the country. Janice Pounds, Strategic Lead for Accent Music Education Hub said “This is the best news we could have hoped for and gives a clear message about how Music Education is viewed nationally. We are looking forward to developing new and exciting strategies to support the continued development of Young Musicians in our region”.
