Feast of Choirs a Big Success

The 2015 Feast of Choirs at The Anglican Cathedral, Liverpool was a massive success. Joined by our special friends Brent Music Service.

 

Over 700 children performed a variety of spectacular gospel songs to a mass audience over 2 nights.  The Warrington Gospel project continues to inspire children and their journey since September certainly showed in an outstanding performance.  Mel Birkett Warrington Gospel Project Leader has worked alongside teachers from each school who had the responsibility for teaching their choirs with Mel.  Janice pounds Strategic Lead for Accent says "there is a great responsibility on the part of 'Accent' Music Education Hub to provide lasting memories for our children which we hope will inspire them to continue their musical journey for years to come".  Children were joined by Brent Youth Choir and Brent Youth String Quartet, Love & Joy Gospel Choir, Tricia Mc Teague a local Warrington Artist, Samboteler Samba Band let by Phil Clarke from Sir. Thomas Boteler, CARJ Circle of Voices Gospel Choir and soloist Chip Kendall.
