DJ Skills Project
The DJ Skills project introduces Key Stage 2 children to the concept of modern DJ skills. Using decks and computer software, children learn to cross fade and beat match like real DJs! A radio show is generated by the children throughout the project to demonstrate how they have developed their skills.
In addition to being exposed to a range of musical genres, the children develop team building skills and are given the opportunity to perform to their peers.
The DJ Skills project is delivered over 10 weeks and a minimum of 2 projects per schools must be booked. All equipment is provided and set up on site by tutors. Each session lasts for 1 hour and is for a maximum 15 students, meaning that tutors can give timely and focused support, helping children to develop their skills quickly.
